The Movie

We could all use a reminder to “stand rapt in awe,” so several years ago (before YouTube!), Maya partnered with Dr. Karen MacKay of Hot Flash Movies to create a simple little clip to help her clients remember what she likes to call “The Wow of Wonder”–the joy of discovery that we experienced so frequently and naturally when we were children.

Though there was nothing particularly wizzy about this video, it was one of those quirky little things that just really resonated with people.  It got passed around…and passed around…and passed around–all over the world.  Many people found Maya and her work this way.  So, even though it was never intended to be viral (it was developed before “viral” was considered a good thing!), the little Wow of Wonder story had its own momentum.

Truth be told, it looks pretty clunky compared to the typical YouTube videos out there now, but it still has its own particular magic.
